Minutes of Council Meetings tend to capture the main idea, but not necessarily the whole description of the remarks. The full nature of my comments was that to effectively move forward to support our Mayors suggestion, council needs to understand the Terms of Reference for the Standing Committee. How it would work with the community led initiative just implemented in follow up to the 2014 ballot question, how it would relate to Saanich’s possible participation in a Provincially supported study.
